AVG FREE ANTIVIRUS

AVG Technologies has released AVG Internet Security 2012 and AVG Antivirus 2012 the latest edition of their flagship security software. The latest version added new protection technologies, computer performance enhancements and content download acceleration. AVG 2012 is lighter, faster and smaller than any previous AVG product.

The earlier versions AVG 9 Free and AVG 2011 Free is still quite popular among our readers. It provides basic security protection for your computer against malware, viruses and other malicious programs. The standard security module that AVG Antivirus Free Edition 2012 comprises of are an antivirus, anti-spyware, email protection, resident protection, LinkScanner, search-shield, surf-shield, anti-rootkit, PC analyze and identity protection.

Each of the following three applications of LiveKive, Family Safety, and PC Tuneup is available as a standalone AVG product, and an optional part of your AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 2012 installation.
